Welcome to Pojanath Bhatanacharoen 趙晶 as the new SCCT Executive Director |

Dear Members, Partners, and Friends of the Swedish Chamber of Commerce Taipei, Warm greetings!
My name is Pojanath, but you can call me Poj. I was born in Bangkok, raised in Gothenburg, Sweden, and later pursued my education in the UK, where I earned a PhD in Politics from Newcastle University. My academic background is in international relations and trade negotiations, and I continued with postdoctoral research at Durham University on the Tipping Points project, exploring how small incremental changes can trigger significant systemic transformations.
For the past six years, I have had the immense privilege of serving as the Executive Director of the Thai-Swedish Chamber of Commerce. It was a true honor to represent Swedish companies—leaders in sustainable innovation, committed to sharing their solutions globally to foster societal and economic growth. Sweden may be a small country, but it certainly punches above its weight on the global stage. I took immense pride in promoting forward-thinking Swedish businesses and I am incredibly happy to continue championing Sweden’s contributions in my new role here in Taipei.
As the new Executive Director of the Swedish Chamber of Commerce Taipei, I am eager to work closely with our members and partners to strengthen ties and advance our shared goals. The Chamber exists to serve you, so I welcome your suggestions and ideas. Please do not hesitate to reach out to me at director@swedchamtw.org, and feel free to connect with me on LinkedIn at https://www.linkedin.com/in/pojanath-bhatanacharoen/ so we can stay in touch. Thank you very much in advance for your invaluable support. I look forward to meeting and working with all of you.
Warm regards, Pojanath Bhatanacharoen 趙晶 |

SCCT welcomed 40 new Swedish students to Taiwan |
| This month, we had the pleasure of hosting a welcome dinner for 40 new Swedish exchange students. We are thrilled to see so many bright students from Sweden and are confident their time here in Taiwan will be a fantastic and enriching experience.
We were honored to have Swedish Representative Helena Reitberger and her office join us at the event. Shedding light on how the office can support the students during their stay here in Taiwan.
Additionally, we were pleased to have Glenn Lio, Chairman of the Swedish Alumni Network, in attendance. Glenn, along with Julia Bergström, serves as a senior liaison for the Young Professionals network.
We look forward to supporting these students as they embark on this exciting journey by creating events for them.
