Join us for this special luncheon with the Director-General of the Bureau of Energy Dr. Cheng-Wei Yu.
In March 2022, Taiwan officially published "Taiwan's Pathway to Net-Zero Emissions in 2050", which provides an action plan to achieve the 2050 Net-Zero Emissions target. To achieve this, the government has pledged a budget of nearly NT$900 billion by 2030 to support the net-zero transition, of which NT$714.8 billion will be spent on energy transition and energy-related infrastructure and technologies.
As part of the net-zero strategies, the government has set a goal of an electricity mix of 60 percent-70 percent renewables and identified hydrogen to be 9%-12% in 2050. Moreover, Taiwan is looking into expanding the wind and solar PV deployment, with cutting-edge geothermal and ocean energy; as well as prioritising the expansion of the renewable energy grid and infrastructure and energy-storage facilities for renewable energy.
Join us for this special face-to-face opportunity to learn about Taiwan's latest energy policy from the Director-General of the Bureau of Energy, and how to turn Taiwan's energy transition policies in to opportunities to benefit your company or industry.
