This years Business Climate Survey is conducted in preparation of the annual Joint Business Council (JBC) meeting between Taiwanese and Swedish officials set to take place in the fall. Each company representative will soon receive an email with an invitation to participate.

The questions concern the situation of your company on the Taiwanese market. As always, the survey aims to be of benefit to you as well as our other member companies. Collecting your opinion enables us to continue working for a better business environment for Sweden-related companies in Taiwan.

The survey aims to capture our combined economic footprint, so as to demonstrate the impact in Taiwan of Swedish business. We expect the results to be useful in further enhancing our common public image and in giving us as a group a certain clout. A summary of the results will be submitted to all participating companies.

Swedish healthcare has a lot to learn from Taiwan, such as zero treatment queues, respect for the patient and cost efficiency

We look forward to welcome our member company PIKU and a delegation of Swedish healthcare politicians and specialists to Taiwan May 6-12th 2023.

Last week we arranged a Welcome Dinner to help new Swedish students in Taiwan, seasoned students and our Young Professional community build their professional network.

SCCT cooperates closely with several Swedish universities. Chalmers University of Technology even has their own Chalmers International Office Taiwan at NYCU, National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University in Hsinchu, staffed by students and led by Mr. Renato Peter Roos Radevski whom many of you have met at our events.

We are pleased to see that so many of our Young Professionals join the member company study visits. Some time ago we visited Atlas Copco and up next is IKEA, followed by Scania and SHL Medical!

We were invited to Atlas Copco Taiwan's HQ in Yangmei to celebrate Atlas Copco's 150th anniversary.

In 1873, Atlas Copco was a small local start-up producing railroad equipment. Now, they are a global company serving customers in many different industries, enabling everything from food production to space travel.

Did you know that they named the company after the titan Atlas in Greek mythology who carries the skies on his shoulders?

A few weeks ago we visited Scania's assembly plant and NEFAB's new head office in Taoyuan.

Two Swedish legendary brands which now happen to be neighbors in Pingzhen District, Taoyuan.

While we were there we of course took the opportunity to explore sustainable cooperation .Jerry and Jacob were introduced to each other and 5 minutes later they shook hands and now have a collaboration going, this is partially why SCCT exists!
