Do you want to live a non-traditional lifestyle, build up an extra income without having to work more hours or just be more financially secure and sleep well at night?

Join the chamber for a series of after-work introductory talks on personal finance, investing and valuing publicly traded companies. Speaker - Chamber member and Do-It-Yourself Investor Johan Skarendal.

Regardless if you're a beginner, have been investing for a while or thinking about it but don't know where to start, discussing investments with others and getting a few tips can get you a long way.

During this event, we will go through topics including but not limited to: Mindsets about money, household financial habits, the Financial Independence Retire Early (FIRE) movement, the craft and process of investing, judging the quality and fair value of publicly traded companies and more.

Depending on our discussions and your feedback, we may even go into individual companies and share our reasoning as for why they are good or bad investments at current prices.

Dinner is included in the price of this interactive evening, which will be held at our member Scania's office - thank you, Scania!

Part one is intended as an introduction to the importance of saving and establishing the right habits to enable a freer life in the long term.

Part two is intended as an introduction to the craft of investing – how to get started, the meaning of terms such as P/E, credit scores and payout ratios as well as looking at individual companies
