Lucia − the bearer of light

Alongside Midsummer, the Lucia celebrations represent one of the foremost cultural traditions in Sweden, with their clear reference to life in the peasant communities of old: darkness and light, cold and warmth. Lucia is an ancient mythical figure with an abiding role as a bearer of light in the dark Swedish winters.

The Swedish Chamber of Commerce Taipei keeps the tradition alive and in collaboration with the Swedish School in Taiwan​ and all merry Swedes in Taiwan we look forward to welcoming you to the church in Tianmu on December 10th at 5 PM for a very traditional Lucia celebration. You will be served mulled wine, coffee, juice, gingerbread cookies and hopefully other Swedish goodies we hope to find during this special time.

As it's a small and cosy church with limited seating, we ask you to register your participation using the link.

Tickets for parents with child/ren attending The Swedish School of Taiwan are free.

Lucia - ljusets bärare

Vid sidan av Midsommar representerar Luciafirandet en av de främsta kulturella traditionerna i Sverige, med en tydlig hänvisning till livet i gamla bondesamhällen: mörker och ljus, kyla och värme.

Svenska Handelskammaren Taipei håller på traditionerna och i samarbete med Svenska Skolan i Taiwan​ och alla glada svenskar i Taiwan ser vi fram emot att välkomna Er till kyrkan i Tianmu den 10:e december kl 17:00 för traditionsenligt Luciafirande. Det bjuds på glögg, kaffe, saft, pepparkakor och förhoppnings andra svenska godsaker vi hoppas kunna lokalisera i Taiwan under denna speciella tid.

聖露西亞——光的承載者

仲夏節以外，露西亞慶祝活動代表了瑞典最重要的文化傳統之一，這清楚的轉達古老農民社區的生活：黑暗與光明、寒冷與溫暖。露西亞是一個古老的神話人物，在瑞典黑暗的冬天扮演著光明的承載者的角色。

為了延續傳統，台北瑞典商物協會，台北瑞典學校與所有在台灣的瑞典人將一起合作。在 12 月 10 日下午 5 點我們邀請您到天母教堂參加一個非常傳統的聖露西亞慶祝活動。活動期間會提供熱葡萄酒、咖啡、果汁、薑餅乾以及其他瑞典的傳統美食。
